On August 5th, 2008 (you know Fiona's birthday) I went with dear friends Megan (introduced book to), Diann and Janice (introduced books to me) to a book signing by Sherrilynn Kenyon. She writes the Dark Hunter series (Trash Novels). She gave a great little talk and answered a few dozen questions including one of my own.

(I have read two series hers and Jasper Fforde's that include two characters with the names Acheron and Styx - so I asked her about it. I didn't expect anything more then what she said. That she knew of Fforde but did not realize the connection.)

We had a lovely time waiting to catch up and talk. It had been awhile since I'd had a good long conversation with Diann and I realized how much I missed her. I'm glad that this little event has led to more frequent communication.



And this is where I admit I cheated - I went from the bottom. Because it's just more interesting.
