You become an employee of this firm, you will make your first million within three years.

I'm happy to announce that Kinnunen Corp. is in the process of hiring a new employee! The interviewing process should take about 6ish more months. The timing is really convenient because we'll be able to introduce the new team member around at all the holiday parties. And they'll be here just in time for us to collect the new employee tax credit for the year.

So far the candidate has been very amiable and not causing too much upheaval. Since I'm the hiring manager a lot of the work has fallen to me, and I must admit it's a little tiring, and at times makes me a little nauseous. Which is nothing compared to the first time Kinnunen Corp. brought on an employee. But a quick cat nap and some tortilla chips seem to help out.

The first appointment with the outside Human Resources Contractor was completed a few weeks ago and everything looks great. The candidate appears to be happy, healthy, and hearty. And the perspective employee's first picture was taken.

The Head of Kinnunen Corp. and the other executive have decided to keep the news of the candidate on the down low from the other employee. We're pretty sure she'll be excited and welcoming, but we're not quite sure how she'll handle the info. She's pretty smart, creative, hard working, and very entertaining. But can be a little thick about understanding the more abstract concepts.

For right now, we've decided to refer to the candidate as Ice Cube II. The project name worked out so well the first time, why mess with success.

Check back for updates!

Allyn, John - You know we're just keeping up with you all.

Amy - We pretty much a slave labor business. Ask Mikko what it's like to get approval from accounting. And, seeing as you outed me, I figured that I need to get the news out.

Joyce - Sure will. I cannot deal with that kind of suspense. I'm the kind of girl who looks at the end of the book.

I think the CEO (aka mom) should get a big raise when the new employee is hired and the other executive should be required to take a pay cut.

Jamie - I would never consider taking a bonus in this economy. But shiny gifts are some else entirely. I'll consider a furlough for current execs to cover the training period.

Sarah - Yep, pretty much cooling from the inside again.
